My Darling (Mettaton x Reader)

        A seemingly never-ending onslaught of rain pelted against the window. The sky outside was darkened, a bit of fog dusted the outside world. Inside of a small home, a couple sat. A human girl, and a well known robot.

        The girl, known as (Y/N), held a mug of (Favored hot drink) in her hands, a blanket wrapped around her shoulders. Her (E/C) eyes watched as the fire in the fireplace danced to an invisible beat. She sat on the comfortable couch, with her lover beside her, who had one arm wrapped around her shoulders. She took a sip of her drink, before placing the mug down. Suddenly, she felt her lovers head land on top of her own.
 
        "(Y/N), darling."

        "Hm?"

        "I love you." 

        She felt a nose nuzzle into her hair, as if he was giving the top of her head an Eskimo kiss. She sighed quietly, although it was a happy sigh. Her hands placed down the mug on the coffee table in front of her, so that she would not spill her drink. She tilted her head to try and get a look at the face of the robot who was currently rubbing his face into her hair, making it slightly messy.

        "I love you too." She felt him smile into her hair, and felt him land a small kiss on her as well. 

        "Have I ever told you that you're perfect?"

        "Many times, yes." A small smile spread across her face fondly.

        "I'm going to say it again. You're perfect, my love." 

        She giggled, and turned her head up to look at the face of her lover once she felt him remove his head from hers. He stared at her with a look that could only be described as pure adoration for the human female. The arm that was not wrapped around her, moved so that he could hold one of her hands, to which she gladly returned the favor of hand holding. He leaned down slightly, and gave the girl a quick peck on the lips. 

        "You're awfully lovey-dovey right now, aren't you?"

        "You deserve all the love in the world. Therefore, I am giving you all the love that I have in me, darling."

        A faint blush came across her cheeks, and a wider smile spread across her lips, as she stared up at him, a slight sparkle in her eyes. She looked down quickly, and buried her face into his chest. One might expect it to be uncomfortable, but she had to disagree with that statement. When she was cuddling with Mettaton, she felt the most comfortable that she possibly could. She removed her hand from his, before shooting out to give him a tight hug, which he returned. A quiet chuckle and a hum came from him, glad at the closeness between the two.

        "I may be a star, but you shine so much more beautifully."

        "I'd say we're equals." She mumbled into his chest, listening to the quiet robotic hums that came from him. A yawn came from her, that she very poorly kept back.

        "That seems fair." His voice was a low whisper. He ran one of his hands through her hair, easing her into sleep. His other hand rubbed her back. She sighed in content, and closed her eyes.

        "Love you.."

        "I love you too. Now rest, my darling (Y/N)."

        He felt her nod ever so slightly. Her body shifted to get into a more comfortable position, before she stilled. Her breathing became slow and steady, showing that she had fallen asleep. He chuckled quietly to himself, before allowing himself to rest as well.
